LED technology for lighting applications is coming of age and has many
advantages over conventional incandescent and fluorescent lighting.
This LED lighting unit is probably the most powerful LED light source available
today in a standard MR16 halogen type format. This LED bulb uses a Luxeon LED
emitter, producing more than 60 lumens. Luxeon LED light sources are the highest
flux LEDs in the world delivering the brightest solid state LED lighting
solutions available. This bulb is specified for AC or DC 12V operation and can
therefore be used in existing low voltage halogen lighting systems if required.
For optimum performance we recommend one of our range of DC power sources which
have been especially designed for LED lighting technology. Using DC power source
guarantees optimum light output and flicker free operation. This bulb consumes
approx 4W of power and has beam angle in the order of 100-110 degrees. It's
available in Cool white. The bulb front is sealed.
