The heart of Xantrex� Premium 12 volt Power package is the Xantrex 2 kW Sinewave
Inverter / Charger. This compact and lightweight machine combines unparalleled
sine wave output quality with a highly efficient power-factor corrected battery
charger. With a no-load power drain of under 25 watts, this inverter raises the
standard of battery charger excellence. Rated at 2.0 kW of continuous power with
a 5-second surge capacity of 4.5 kW, this inverter / charger will provide ample
power for most homes that are powered by 12-volt batteries. This inverter is
capable of starting heavy loads such as shop tools and water pumps and a pair of
them may be connected in series for 120/240 operation.
The Xantrex 2 kW Sinewave Inverter / Charger battery charger delivers up to 100
amps of continuous current to the batteries. The power-factor corrected design
of the charger means more power to the batteries with less power demand from the
generator. The Xantrex 2 kW Sinewave Inverter / Charger automatically reduces
demand on the battery charger when other loads require power from the generator
keeping the generator running at peak efficiency. The generator consumes less

Both the inverter and the
battery charger are fully programmable via the standard control panel
display module. The remote panel can be mounted up to 70 feet away from the
inverter. Adjustable settings include; AC input voltage and frequency range,
search sensitivity, low battery cut off, battery profile, battery charger type,
voltage and current set points for all charger modes, and much more. All custom
settings can be saved to be recalled when the inverter is powered down for
