Point Lighting customizes the specification, system design, drawings and
equipment to suit the application.
Point Lighting Corporation was founded in 1993 by a group of airfield lighting
professionals dedicated to the values of service, quality and expertise in the
fields of aviation obstruction lighting and airfield lighting. Point Lighting
offers visual navigational aids and technical advice to consultants, industrial
plants, airports and contractors with quality products sold through electrical
distributors and representatives. Point Lighting uniquely combines in one
company years of experience in aviation lighting manufacturing, marketing and
international relations.
The company has special expertise in application engineering for process
industry obstruction lighting systems for refineries, process plants and other
major industrial sites. Point Lighting also packages airfield & heliport
lighting projects, supplies parts for many airfield lighting products and offers
complete export services.
Point Lighting maintains an Intertek Testing Service (ETL) certified FAA and
MILSPEC quality control system. The company's obstruction lighting products have
been supplied for Daytona Speedway, the Washington Monument, all sites at the
Athens International Airport in Greece and many other prominent projects. Upon

We use material of our own manufacture and items of selected suppliers modified
as required. Lowering systems are recommended by Point Lighting. We produce
drawings that supplement the manuals for the equipment. We add saddle brackets,
tension springs, attachment points, connectors, cable sleeves & tools.
Steel weld brackets for stack attachment and mounting plates are designed and
fabricated by Point Lighting. Predrilled, tagged and shipped with stainless
steel hardware saving the contractor from field fabricating
a hundred or more unfamiliar brackets. The system controller is always a custom
modular design based on the US National Electric Code.
Every project is analyzed to customize a bill of material that is
realistic for field installation. We supply hardware, cable entries,
epoxy-filled wire nuts, cable strain reliefs & other details no surprises.
DOCUMENTATION
Point Lighting will prepare the documentation required by large end users in
forms to make your job easier.
Specification: At design stage, a written specificationand bill of material.
Technical Standards: References to FAA, ICAO, MIL or other supporting
government documentation.
Approval Drawings: Mechanical and electrical layouts, controller
schematic, interconnection & catalog data. [CAD, MS Word, Acrobat .pdf catalog
data & digital photos] Parts List: Complete and recommended spares as required
by the project documents.
Test Reports: Upon request [Adobe Acrobat .pdf] Tagging: All components
tagged cross-referenced to the manual and drawings.
Manual: A complete book with all drawings, catalog sheets, digital part photos,
parts lists.
Packing Lists: Complete detailed packing lists by carton
